Welcome back to Spring 2. We have a very busy and exciting half term ahead.  I hope you have enjoyed getting stuck into the Egyptian projects.  Children will be presenting to the class on Tuesday 3rd March.      In maths,  we will be continuing to learn about Fractions.  You can support your child at home by using opportunities such as pizza and cake cutting to talk about fractions and practise times tables.

Useful websites

https://www.timestables.co.uk/speed-test/   (particularly for year 4s as this will help not only with times tables but also experience using a key board and working against the clock)   All Year 4 children are used to this website and use it at school.

Our Topic this half term is Ancient Egypt.   We have enjoyed being Geographers learning about the River Nile and locating Egypt on a world map.  We are now Historians and had a great time examining primary evidence with our special guest.
